the title was taken from a news broadcast about a bride whose family was angry that there was no open bar. they just sort of took over the place and started pouring themselves drinking, inviting eviction from the premises. the bride was found walking a half mile down the street, "barefoot and cursing". guitar part was written based on just finding all the variations on a b chord and figuring out how to place them into a lyrical guitar part.
